This role will be joining our Corporate Strategy Team who will be facilitating the strategic planning process and developing this into the strategic plan to be cascaded throughout the whole organisation.
What we’re looking for
We are looking for a new colleague who can facilitate, drive, promote, inspire, and support the corporate strategy process of Wallenius Wilhelmsen, from creation to execution. The Strategy Analyst will play a pivotal role in driving the development and execution of key business strategies to achieve organizational goals. They will serve as a thought leader, providing insights and recommendations that shape the company’s long-term vision and success.
You will be working daily with seasoned experts who can provide both guidance and coaching on your professional development.

Main responsibilities
- Facilitate the strategic planning process and developing this into the strategic plan.
- Independently own end-to-end workstreams as part of broader strategic projects including defining the problems and/or opportunities to address
- Conduct research and qualitative/quantitative analysis to support strategic direction.
- Conceive and develop strategic growth initiatives in close collaboration with the organisation
- Develop strategic assessment models to help prioritize initiatives that drive growth
- Challenge and support the Corporate Development Office and its workstreams in translating overall problems and objective to concrete deliverables.
- Monitor, follow up and report back progress towards strategic goals and recommend appropriate actions for adjustments and improvements.
Desired qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience in a relevant position, preferably in an international B2B services environment or management consulting, with significant exposure to strategic analysis, strategy development and project delivery
- Strong and proven track record of breaking down complex problems into concrete actionable plans.
- Strong MS Excel modelling toolkit. Experience with using Python or other programming languages for analysis is beneficial.
- Excellent interpersonal - and communication skills, including the ability to communicate clearly and succinctly in PowerPoint presentations and written memos.
- Proactive and a “can-do” attitude with an innovation and growth mindset.
- Ability to work across all levels of an international, complex organization and foster an environment of mutual support and collaboration.
