As Senior Manager for Maritime Environmental Regulations, you’ll oversee our climate and environmental regulatory activities, working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders. You’ll also help us navigate complex regulations, manage risks, and seize new opportunities in the journey toward a greener maritime industry. In other words, you will be the go-to person for anything related to the evolving regulatory arena.
We’re looking for someone who thrives in a multicultural environment and is passionate about making a difference in the maritime industry. If you’re self-motivated, curious, and enjoy finding practical solutions to complex issues, we’d love to hear from you.

- Prepare whitepapers, position papers, and presentations on maritime regulations.
- Keep the organization updated on maritime environmental regulations and developments.
- Leverage internal and external expertise to represent the company in environmental public affairs, including at EU, IMO, Flag State levels, and trade associations.

- Strategic acumen, combined with a passion and vision for sustainability in shipping.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
At Wallenius Wilhelmsen, we're not just looking for a perfect requirement match - we're searching for passionate individuals with unique perspectives. Research shows that women and members of minority groups are less likely to apply if they feel like they don't match every requirement - give us the opportunity to decide if that's the case! Your experience and enthusiasm matter more than checking every box, and we'd love to have you on board!
